My Secure Backup from Forayweb is an easy to use backup service. At the same time, My Secure Backup is a network drive that can be shared by all of your computers. Think of it as an infinitely large USB disk that's always available to you. Automatic backups or drag and drop file access.

No restrictions

Other online backup services restrict the types of files you can backup. They often limit how much data you can backup in a period of time. Some disallow backup of your program files, large video, or system files. Look carefully at those "unlimited" backup plans. They often have hidden restrictions on "reasonable usage" or they "reserve the right to terminate your service at any time" for no reason. My Secure Backup's pay-as-you-go business model ensures that you will never outgrow your space or become a burden. The more you use, the more we love you.

Pay as you go

Other online storage is sold as either a tiered service or on a strictly space-used basis. My Secure Backup from Forayweb uses the better part of both of these plans. We have a flat fee on the first 10GB you use. This is enough for most people to back up their most important system, program, and personal data files. Beyond that, you pay for only the extra storage you use each month. No need to pay for unused space.

One price

Your one My Secure Backup license can be used across an unlimited number of computers. Other online backup services make you pay monthly for each computer you want to backup, even if you're only backing up a small number of files from each computer. Go ahead and install your My Secure Backup on all of your computers.

Archive as well as backup

Other backup services only backup data that is currently on your local drives. When you remove files from your local drive, they're automatically removed from your backup files after a month or so. This covers catastrophic damage but it means that you can't use your backup space to archive seldom used files and free up local disk space. You know those folders full of old documents that you don't need but that you're unwilling to delete. How about all those family movies? With My Secure Backup you can safely archive your data and have access to it anytime you need it in the future.

Mac, Windows, and Linux - Yes

The My Secure Backup is cross platform. Even if you only use one operating system today, you may want to access it in the future from some other platform. The same features are available in all three versions of our utility software. (Note for techie Mac users: we've made sure that resource forks and finder data work properly.)

Check the fine print in other online services. Additionally, you can choose to alternately store your data on Amazon S3 (additional charges from Amazon will apply).
